Company Foundation
2021Milan Bohara and Sashi Kiran Thapa co-founded KleanIt Upcyclers
After returning from studies at Truman State University, USA, the founders established KleanIt with a vision to transform Nepal's plastic waste crisis into sustainable opportunities.
Research & Development
2021-2022Intensive R&D phase at National Innovation Centre
Developed custom machinery and perfected plastic melting and molding technologies. Initial experiments conducted with locally available resources.
UNDP Partnership
2023Major collaboration with UNDP Accelerator Lab Nepal
Launched partnership with UNDP and Blue Waste to Value for upcycled bench production, marking first major institutional partnership.
